gpsd checksum issue?

Per suggestion:

$ sudo port clean --all gpsd

I have placed the original “failed” version here: http://parducci.net/xfr/gpsd-3.14.tar.gz

gzip doesn’t recognize the format so I assume it was a file corrupted on up/download.
