Hmmm...  I've been following this thread, and I get:

/opt/local/lib/libpng.la

but I also get:

/opt/local/libexec/texlive/binaries/a2ping
/opt/local/libexec/texlive/binaries/a5toa4
/opt/local/libexec/texlive/binaries/adhocfilelist

etc.

What did I break this time?
