gss 1.0.3 doesn't build on OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard due to use of getline()

Oh, I guess I misunderstood you.  I thought you were asking for a getline compatibility library for snow leopard, so that's what I steered you towards. It works, to build nss. You can use it if you like.
