Octave out of date?

Mojca,

The issues with the octave packages are minor, as most are compatible with the current release and what is on hg, and the others have been dropped upstream. I keep the octave packages up to date.

However, I’m not the maintainer of the octave or octave-devel packages (Marcus Calhoun-Lopez). I’ve, at times, kept a more up to date local version of octave-devel, but for the better part of a year, our download scheme has yielded broken archives for octave-devel (pulled from hg). I haven’t had time to investigate what is going on.
