corrupt PortIndex file

I don't know why your portindex would be corrupt. Try "sudo port selfupdate". If it's still corrupted then, let us know.

Please switch your sources.conf to rsync://rsync.macports.org/macports/release/tarballs/ports.tar

If you're referring to the unexpected "ldap" and "postgres" user and group appearing here, I've explained that before. Ignore it. It shouldn't be causing any problems.
