FWIW, with me here, macOS 10.15.6:

$ port list ImageMagick
ImageMagick                    @6.9.11-29      graphics/ImageMagick


$ sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb
$ locate *.la | grep hei
$ 

Nothing related to heif, heic.
