This is correct. I could explain why (its a nuance of how we ensure a compatible single runtime environment for all support gcc versions, but its not relevant here so I won’t go into that any more).

No currently released gcc version supports Apple arm. For now the only version you can use is the port gcc-devel’ which has experimental support…
