Yes, ffmpeg has a lot of dependencies and even more when building from
source. Reclaim may have removed some of the latter because they're not
needed once you have built and installed the ports that use them.

Rust was updated to a new version, which accounts for one of the
rebuilds. Otherwise it was probably only rebuilt if you uninstalled it
(with port reclaim or otherwise). Everything is deactivated and then
activated again when you restore a snapshot, which may look
superficially similar to but is much faster than actually building.

That would probably just mean you have to build rust yet again? :)
