Yes, that's exactly what I thought as I brought the pathing discussion
to the list again. The milestone 1.7.1 [1] has only 4 open tickets left.

I would be fine with merging these three above.

Is there anything using this? This is base internal code, so I don't
think it is reasonable to merge this without merging code which uses it.

Most of these are new features and the like. Do not merge them.

Anything that has changed and was not added to the ChangeLog is usually
not worth for merging.
