#49007: openssh +ldns SSHFP DNSSEC validation fails

Make sure you note on the ticket if/when upstream accepts your patch (or if it accepts a modified version) - as it will make it much more likely that a theoretical openssh maintainer (or someone who is interested with commit access) will include it if it's accepted upstream.
