Comment:

 The installation script being buggy and failing to create a `~/.profile`
 file in some cases is a known and already reported bug, which will be
 fixed in the up-coming 1.6.1 MacPorts release. Therefore closing this
 ticket as duplicate, though I cannot remember the number of the original
 one.

 Reports for ports failing to install their man pages should be filed
 separately per the guidelines [http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets
 outlined] in our guide.
