You will want to use WikiFormatting in your ticket comments and
descriptions. Use the Preview button to make sure your formatting looks
right before submitting.
So we know the problem is related to the php5 apache2 module. Good. (You
also have the fastcgi variant selected... you are also using the php5
fastcgi executable?)
Test if those php extensions are causing the problem. Reactivate php5 and
restart apache2 and confirm the problem comes back. Then deactivate
php5-gd, php5-mbstring, php5-mcrypt, php5-mysql and php5-zip, then restart
apache2 and see if the problem is still there.
What variant of apache2 is installed?
Are there any web requests being served? What's in the apache access log
and error log?
