Comment (by devans@…):
A possibly more relevant case. p5-test-tester has been replaced by p5
-test-simple and has subports p5.10-p5.20.
It is not in the current graveyard list but is returned by the suggested
list generation script so I assume it has been manually removed.
After adding the line
{{{
p5-test-tester 0.109.0_3
}}}
to p5-graveyard and running portindex
{{{
$ port info p5.10-test-tester (gets info from p5-test-tester)
p5.10-test-tester @0.109.0_1 (perl)
Replaced by: p5.10-test-simple
Description: this port is only a stub and has been made obsolete
by p5.10-test-simple
Homepage: http://www.macports.org/
Library Dependencies: perl5.10
Platforms: darwin
License: Artistic-1 GPL
Maintainers: nomaintainer at macports.org
}}}
but
{{{
$ port info p5.8-test-tester (gets info from p5-graveyard)
p5.8-test-tester @0.109.0_3 (perl)
Replaced by: p5.16-test-tester
Description: this port is only a stub and has been made obsolete
by p5.16-test-tester
Homepage: http://www.macports.org/
Platforms: darwin
License: unknown
Maintainers: nomaintainer at macports.org
}}}
Again where p5-test-tester and p5-graveyard have common subports, p5-test-
tester is overriding.
