 I didn't test qsynt. I only started it on a linux box that I had at hand
 and had no clue what it does.

 I later figured out how you did the configuration of `timidity.cfg`. That
 makes it clear, one just has to `source` another configuration. I'll use
 that next time for testing.

 I wouldn't worry about anything about the font that's not in the Debian
 repository (unless someone complains - unlikely given that we don't
 currently provide any MIDI support and nobody ever complained at all).
 It's not worth the troubles.
