 from the log it looks like this is the problem:
 {{{
 :info:build unable to execute 'swig': No such file or directory
 :info:build error: command 'swig' failed with exit status 1
 }}}

 for me it builds fine, but I also have {{{swig}}} installed; so perhaps
 the port is just missing a dependency.

 Can you first do:
 {{{
 sudo port install swig
 }}}

 and then try to install {{{py27-pymvpa}}} again and let us know here how
 that goes?
