Interactive applications to be installed to /Applications/MacPorts?

rsync.darwinports.org is still a valid address for getting the ports  
for MacPorts.

There's also rsync.macports.org, but it points to the same IP  
address, and someone on this list said months ago it's not a good  
idea to switch to this new name, though I don't remember why.
