status of gcc42

Hello All,

I am running on a Intel Mac under 10.4.8 with Macports version 1.320.  
Some time ago I successfully built and used gcc42. Today I tried  
upgrading to the latest version and I received the following error:

Installed assemblers are:
/opt/local/libexec/as/ppc64/as for architecture ppc64
/opt/local/libexec/as/ppc/as for architecture ppc
/opt/local/libexec/as/i386/as for architecture i386

Is there a special version of odcctools that contains the x86_64  
assembler? I tried uninstalling and rebuilding odcctools and received  
the same error.

Is there a way to build just a 32 bit version of gcc42? by mistake I  
did not write down the version number of my old gcc42 install before  
I deactivated and uninstalled it. Is the old port file somewhere in  
my port tree?
