I found the following bugs. Will add output and observations to these.

TeXShop

texshop fails to build on 10.6 (closed: fixed, so new bug report required.)

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/20291

LaTeXiT

LaTeXiT does not build on x86_64

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21416

advi

advi build failure

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23673

gimp-app

gimp-app fails to build on Snow Leopard

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21718

gimp2

gimp2 should require python 2.6 not 2.5

(relevant to 64-bit support? Even if so, bug report still required)

http://developer.apple.com/Mac/library/documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man1/python.1.html

" Version 2.6 supports 64-bit execution (which is on by default). Version 2.5 only supports 32-bit exe-cution. execution."

Does this apply to the MacPorts Python 2.5?

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23821

gimp2 failure

(title seems to be wrong: ticket does not refer to gimp2)

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/22892

py26-numpy

py26-numpy 1.4.0_0 configure or build does not like the -arch option passed to gcc-mp

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23244

py26-numpy @1.4.0 - this version has been pulled, please restore 1.3.0

(not necessarily related, but could be)

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23832

xsane

Nothing relevant found
