None example in macport/share/qt4 folder

Hi Michael - Well, qt4-mac's doc and examples are in,
respectively:
${prefix}/share/doc/qt4
and
${prefix}/share/qt4/examples
I don't know about qt4-creator-mac's; why not view the installed
files for this port and see what's in ${prefix}/share/... ? - MLD
