avidemux fails to build - ticket 34803

I have just raised a ticket on avidemux failing to build. I can't find anything relevant in TRAC. 

Configure seems to think that the installed gcc is not 64-bit capable, although I've been building universal ports since my upgrade to Lion. There are also assorted compilation errors referring to TYPEDEFs that inclue a default parameter value, which it says is not allowed on a non-proc item.

All help appreciated?
