X11_MacPort Problem

When you say "shutdown every 3s of X11 and restart" do you mean that X11.app quits itself and then reopens?

What version of OS X do you use? What version of Xcode?

Have you already tried restarting your computer?

Has this ever worked?

Do you have the xorg-server port installed?

What happens if you launch /Applications/MacPorts/X11.app directly? Does it quit after 3 seconds?

Sounds like the path to the port command is not in your PATH environment variable. Where is port actually installed (usually it's in /opt/local/bin) and what is the value of your PATH environment variable? (find out by running "echo $PATH")
