Using Myst Online

Is anyone able to get myst online to work in 10.9 or 10.10?

I have managed to get the port to install and set up (running 10.9), but after the game connects, downloads patches and updates, UruLive will proceed to give me an error, "Access Violation", and 14 hex numbers of call stack.

(gads, I'm spoiled by Apple's native informative crash dumps).
