Hello Michael,

I feared that much, and indeed I've noticed that configure.optflags="-O3 -ggdb" appears in some compilations but not all (and of course someone puts a -O2 *after* my -O3 :-/ ). Let's hope that I get debug info in where I'd really like to have it without having to hack hundreds of Makefiles... :)
