Hi,

sites do not care specifically about the OS version, but the SSL/TLS levels that are supported. When a connection is opened the server and client first negotiate what to use, based on what the client supports and what the server requires. If the client cannot provide what the server requires, the connection is denied.

If you want more information on this, you need to do your own research. A web search for SSL/TLS should be a good start.
